A 2-day hike from Kommetjie to Constantia Nek along a leg of the famous Hoerikwaggo Trail. This Hoerikwaggo Trial has a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 hikers at a time. You will overnight at the Silvermine tented Camps in the heart of the Silvermine Nature Reserve. This is a protected area and an important part of the Table Mountain National Park.

Day 1: Kommetjie – Silvermine Dam
We start near the Slangkop Lighthouse in Kommetjie and spend the first half of your day walking along the Noordhoek beach with the fresh smell of the ocean sharpening your senses. Look out for Oyster Catchers, Cape Clawless Otters and sometimes whales and dolphins. From Noordhoek Beach we climb Chapman’s Peak which offers magnificent views from Table Mountain to Cape Point. We then hike down to our accommodation at Silvermine tented camp, overlooking False Bay.
Distance: 18km (+/- 8-9 hours walk)
Day 2: Silvermine Dam – Constantia Nek
Wake up on the mountain and spend your day walking through lovely fynbos to Constantia Nek were your two-day getaway comes to an end.
Distance: 17.5 km (+/- 8-9 hours walk)
